Okay so July 8th on a whim Josh decided that he wanted to go to Idaho and go to the cabin in island park, right by West Yellowstone. We have not gone anywhere all summer and we have been complaining that this summer has been boring. So late Saturday night (we had family pictures earlier that night) we we backed up and left. The kids did great on the car ride they slept most of the time. We did not get there until around 3am. Jake and Kelsie and Kelsie's parents where already sound asleep with there two girls. So Josh quietly put the older kids in the cabin and I decided that it would be best of Beck and I slept in the van so that he would not wake the other kids. It was the worst night ever. He was screaming in the van for an hour and was so tired. We did survive though and it was an experience for sure. On Sunday we floated the river on flat bottom boats I thought that Beck would hate it but in fact he loved it. On Monday we took the kids into West Yellowstone to pick out a survinor. Bella picked out a pink t-shirt not huge surprise anything pink and Hunter picked out a pocket knife not my first pick but what ever he is all boy and there are rules on it. It was such a fun little get away. I love that place. I know it has so many memories for Josh as a little kid and it is so nice that we can share it with our kids.
