Temple Square

We visited Temple Square tonight (12-10-2008). It was really fun to see the lights and remember what Christmas is all about. It was very cold outside so we were all bundled up. It was the kids first time at temple square with the lights, pretty sad considering Hunter is almost seven years old. They absolutely loved it. Bella has been very curious about Jesus Christ lately, and it was fun to see her lights light up when we were inside with the huge Christ statue. Hunter was complaining most of the time of how cold he was. He had the biggest coat on, I am pretty sure he was just looking for something to complain about. Salt Lake is a beautiful city this time of year. We are so grateful to live where we do. Beckham was a trooper, he was strapped to mommy the whole time and was mesmerized by the twinkling lights. We had quite a shock when we left. We had parked under the Conference Center and it was $10 for the parking fee. Josh put a $20 bill in the machine when we were pulling out of the parking garage, and it didn't give him any change back. So, we paid $20 for about 1.5 hours worth of parking. We called the parking manager on our way home and they are mailing us $10... crisis averted. Anyhow, it was a fun family night and added to our Christmas season!
