I am so behind, and really I have no good excuse other then I hate down loading pictures on the camera and I think that is the easiest thing but anyway.
Well for some reason Hunter passed First Grade (just kidding). I was a lot more sad when first grade was over he is getting to be such a big kid, and first grade is a big sign. He had just a wonderful teacher, her name is Mrs. Bird. She had a trying class this year my son included and she always had a smile on her face. Hunter just loved her. She only had to call me a couple of times, so all and all it was a good year. Hunter learned a lot, a few monkey business cards okay maybe more then a few. Hunter has found his silly side, he was the class clown this year. His poor teacher we were working together trying to teach Hunter when it is okay to be funny and when it is not okay, I think he was getting better but who knows what next year will bring. On the second to last week of school hunter teacher did a fun thing she did Camp Learn. They had little kid tents set up in the class room, she got all the kids t-shirts and then they tie dyed them. They did some arts and crafts, went on a nature walk, just a bunch of things so creative and so much time and effort. I wish she could be Hunter's teacher again next year. Well Josh and I are very proud of our little first grader and sad at the same time. He is reaching all of these big milestones of things that I knew would happen one day, but they are happening now. I remember him being so little and sweet and innocent, and he is still those things to me just grown up and big. I think that he is sometimes trying to grow up faster than he already is. Well hopefully we survive 2nd grade I guess huh.
