1st Birthday

Our little baby Beckham turned one on May 8Th. I can' t believe how fast the time has gone. We are so glad to have him in our family he is so dang cute. For Beckhams birthday I thought that it would be fun to get a bouncy house and have a party with all of his cousins. Now I know that he is only turning one and doesn't really care, but I thought it would be fun for all of the other kids mine included. So as I was trying to figure the party all out it was brought to my attention that there were three other cousins on Josh's side birthdays that month too. So I thought lets just have one big party. I was going to invite everyone anyway so they were going to be here, it was just singing happy birthday 3 more times and 3 more cakes to blow out. So we celebrated not only Beckhams birthday we also had Penny's, Kaylee's and Derek's. Each one of the kids had there own cake so that they felt special. We had a BBQ which was way yummy. My family also came to the big shindig it was Beckhams first birthday they could not miss it for the world and of course they didn't. The bounce house turned out to be a lot of fun it had a slide and the kids were entertained the whole time. I would do it again.
I got Beck a cake from Macey's of his very own and I was hoping wishing and praying that he would big out and get super messy. None of my other kids did and it was so disappointing. Beck did not disappoint me. He went to town and was so excited I was jumping up and down. For his presents we did not go crazy he is one he does not know better right. So we got him a swing that we put out on the back deck and he loves loves it, and a floaty thing for swimming. That is all that we got him. He was really not into opening presents. I hope that he had a fun day.

The night before his birthday (May 7Th) I had just finished getting Beck ready for bed and getting ready to lay him down and started to get teary eyed. The next time saw him he was going to be one. I took Beck to Josh and he gave him a big hug and was sad with me. Time goes by so much faster as you get older. I love him so much and just want him to stay little forever.
