Hunter Thomas Dahl

On January 30, 2002 our little Hunter was born. So this last Friday our little boy turned 7. I cant believe that my little boy turned 7. The time has gone by so fast. I always say that he is special to me because he is the one that made he a mom. Hunter was a little bit of a surprise. He was born one year and nine months after Josh and I got married. We were young, but happy that Hunter came to us.
Hunter was not such a fun infant, but he was so dang cute. Hunter is all boy. He loves to go Hunting any chance he gets, so I think that is name was appopriate. He loves to play lego's, ride his bike, play video games when I let him, play hunting with his cousin Calin, he is known as the "class clown" he is always trying to be funny. He loves junk food to sum it up. He loves chips at one point he would eat a meat sandwich for lunch only because that was the only way he could eat chips. He loves loves loves Dr. Pepper. He never gets to drink it because like the kids need more energy. I will let him have it on special occassions, like for his birthday lunch I let him. He is kind, and helpful. He is very sensitive. The other day I was telling him how special he was to Josh and I and he was getting all teary eyed. Hunter is a smart boy, and school comes easy for him. He hates doing homework and argues with me every night, but of couse he does not win. He is amazing with small children. He is the oldest cousin on both sides of the family. He is so sweet to his little cousins, he always makes them laugh they just love him. As a mom to a boy first Hunter and then Beckham of course I am still learning what is normal and what is not. Thank heavens I have Josh to tell me what is normal. As a mom of two boys I am learning day by day. I had no brothers so I have no idea. Well lets be honest I am still learning with Bella to.
Hunter loves going to his grandparnets house or aunts and uncles. They all spoil him to death and I am eternal gratful that he has all of them to steer him in the right direction in life. This year I will need to prepare him to get baptized. It is so weird he is getting so old. I still look at him as my baby. He was my side kick for three years. Ask anyone he did not leave my side ever. He went every where with me. I am so glad that I was able to devote my all to him for those three years. I am proud of the child he has become and look forward to seeing was is to become. I love that little boy so much I guess I should not call him a little boy anymore.
Okay so for Hunter's birthday present it was a surprise. My sister Janice had planned a trip to take her famiy to Disneyland, and asked if maybe I wanted Hunter to go to for his birthday. I thought it was a great idea. So after figuring it all out. We got the whole family involved. My parents Josh's parents, and my other sister. They all pitched in some money so they he would be able to go. Since my sister was leaving on his birthday we decided to tell him the night before January 29. All the family just starting showing up at our house. We told Hunter it was to watch the office hehehe. After everyone got there we told him that the present we got him we thought he would want to use it on his birthday. I wrapped a peice of mickey mouse papaer with it saying pack your bags you are leaving for Disneyland tomorrow. I was so nervous when he was opening it. His reaction was funny. I think he was so shocked he did now know what to think. We did chocolate chip cookies, and ice cream and sand him happy birthday. It was a day early, but i had to do it. Fun birthday present what a luck boy!!
p.s. Okay so I know that the pictures are not in order, but I kinda just don't care.
