Happy Birthday

Our Isabella Jenny Dahl turned 4 on January 14Th. I have to say that is was kinda a sad day for me. My little princess is getting so big. They are still kinda a baby when they are 3 but when they turn 4 they are bigger kids. For her birthday Josh and I took her to lunch to Barry's her choice she loves the getting hot dogs and doesn't eat the bun, she is crazy. Later that night we took her bowling at fat cats. Then some of the family came over to our house for cake and ice cream, and presents. It was a fun day, but bittersweet .

Bella was born on a Friday night, at around 10pm. She was 6 days earlier. I thought that I might be in labor but was not sure. Josh was at work when I called and said I felt different but I was not sure. He said I am coming home and taking you to the hospital, I said oh no I am just fine, there is no way I am in labor. Well he did not listen to me and came home from work. I started to get ready to leave and my contractions started to hurt he was so right. So we hurried and packed things up and left the house. On the drive to the hospital my contractions were so painful, I thought I was dying. I got to the hospital and they gave me my epidural, and about 45 minutes after I got to the hospital my little princess was born. it was so fast. She is the little girl I have always wanted and hoped for. I was so happy that she had picked Josh and I to be her parents. Bella's birthday is also special, it is a day after her Grandma Toms (my mom) birthday. So every year we get to celebrate there birthdays together.

Isabella has a ton of nicknames. Bella, Princess, Pin Pin, Gui, Guitel, just to name a few. A couple of them who knows where they came from and I know that I did not spell them right. They all fit her. I call her Bella most of the time. She is such a girl. She likes playing babies and barbies. She loves loves pink. She loves her milk, and always has. The first thing she asks for in the morning is milk in a sippy, but in the microwave just for about 20 seconds. She is very motherly, and kind. She can throw a mean temper tantrum, has has amazing lungs. I love that I have been blessed with a little girl and hope that I am blessed with at least one more girl. I love her to pieces and cant imagine my life without pink, bows, screaming, fingernail polish, barbies and babies, just to name a few.
