Our kids call this Grandma "Grandma Lake" we gave her that name because she has a small lake just down the street from her house in Idaho. Our kids love it. It is where we had the family reunion and we have had it there for the last couple years. Everyone camps and goes fishing, and swims in the lake. Hunter absoutley loves her house and who would not being a 6 year old boy. Josh's mom was lucky enough to grow up there, and Josh spent many summers playing up there. I love that we get to take our kids up there and they are making memories. Grandma and Grandpa Lake our so good to our kids to let them start making memories like there dad did.
I hope that our kids have many more years up there to have fun and play.
We left for the reunion on friday and left on sunday all of Josh's Aunts and Cousins were all there. There were people there that I had no idea who they were. I am not sure if Josh knew who they were. Josh's Grandparents were nice enough to let us stay at there house because we have a new baby, so thankfully we did not have to camp. There was no other option for Hunter he absolutly wanted to camp. He asked me if he could bring his own small tent that he has. I thought well sure thinking that he would not sleep in it, but put it up and go to bed and then get scared but oh no he slept in his own tent every night. Josh's parents camped up at the lake with him so he did have adult supervision. Such a funny little boy. I hardly saw him, he just did his own thing. The only rule that i gave him while we were there was that if we went in the lake he had to wear his life jacket and he did everytime. When we were leaving he started crying because he did not want to leave so cute.
We went to a parade in St Anothny and went to the Rodeo. Josh and Hunter also jumped off a 30 ft bridge. Hunter did it last year and he always does it with a life jacket. I cant believe he did it again. He only did it once this year because he said that the water was way to cold. Josh did say that the water was way to cold and shocking so i cant blame him. Well the family reunion was alot of fun and i am glad that we were able to go. I know that these reunions mean alot to Josh so i am glad that he is able to go and have fun. He had been going to this reunion since he was a little boy, but they used to be in sicipo. I know that he loves that he can take his kids now.
