Early Summer Nights... 2008

Josh writing--- It has been a very busy couple of weeks again. Time seems to be speeding up faster and faster with every passing day. It is Fathers day today, my sixth one. I am very grateful to be a husband and father. Jen is the best mom of three kids I have ever seen. She makes it look easy. I do my best to make providing for them look easy. Balancing Work and home has been a little more of a challenge lately since I only have one employee and myself running my store but I know I cannot complain.

Isabella has been enrolled in a local dance class and had her first performance a week ago. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. She was pointing her toes, doing little curtsey's... everything you would expect from a 3 year old dance performance. I am not going to lie, I had tears in my eyes. It was so cute.

Hunter has been playing tee ball twice a week with the local kids rec. league. He is a great little ball player. He has also been getting his fare share of sleepovers in. Sleeping at Grandma Trucks house, Jessica and Justin's house, His friend Parker's house, and Jamie and Justin's house. Spoiled little boy.

I have found some time to squeeze in some yard work over the past couple of weeks. I have completed the drip system in the garden and also completed my corner planter beds on the edges of our lot. Jen was a huge help yesterday... she mowed the lawn all by herself and it passed the test of my perfectionist issues I have with my yard. Jen officially planted her first flowers at our home. It looks awesome.

We have been enjoying the summer nights with our neighbors. It has been unseasonably cold and then hot, then cold and so on. So I went out and purchased a natural gas fireplace for the new deck. It has been so fun. We have spent more nights than I want to admit out on the deck until almost 2 am laughing with the Shenks (our neighbors behind us) and the Wellings (the neighbors to the west of us). It has been such a fun time in our lives. The pace seems to be getting more and more grueling but we are figuring out how to balance the time. Life is sooooooooo good.

Anyhow I want to thank Jen for making me a proud father of three children. I cant believe the joy I feel when I get to be around my family. Also thanks to my dad and Tom for being such great men. I am truly blessed.

Peath OUT!

Josh, this is Jordan, A good looking yard needs some recognition. Excellent work. I'm looking to get some 3/4 inch gravel for a pathway in our back yard, do you know of any places close by that sells it?
